

$5,000 college scholarships awarded to two team members
The annual IU Health Board of Directors scholarship program supports dependents of IU Health team members interested in pursuing healthcare-related degrees. IU Health offers the $5,000 college scholarships in honor of retiring board members. This year’s recipients are: Kaylani Tomlin (Parent/guardian: Tisha Rainer, team lead, IU Health West Hospital) ![]() Kaylani is currently a senior at North Central High School graduating in May of 2025. She plans to attend Purdue University to earn her degree in chemical engineering. Tomlin states: “I have dreamed of working at Eli Lilly as long as I can remember. Through my determination and hard work, I will make it my reality.” Lindsey Van Dyke ![]() Lindsey is currently a senior at Westfield High School graduating in May of 2025. She plans to attend Indiana University Bloomington to earn her degree in biology/pre-med. After attaining undergrad, she plans to attend medical school to become a doctor. Van Dyke states: “When I was young, the idea of being able to heal someone felt almost superhuman, almost magical to me. As children, we all dream of being superheroes with incredible abilities; and in many ways, I still carry that desire to make a profound impact on someone’s life.” |
