Appreciated: John R. Melin Appreciation Award Honors Four at IU Health Methodist
An annual award program that was suspended during the pandemic made up for lost time by honoring four IU Health Methodist Hospital team members who go above and beyond. Made possible by a gift from the late Dr. John R. Melin and his wife, the 2023 John R. Melin Appreciation Award went to a 25-year IU Health Methodist veteran, an environmental services team leader, an RN known for her generosity to patients, and a Patient Care Assistant who put off retirement because she couldn’t stand to leave her work.
