Sharing warmth: Grateful Patient Donates Blanket Warmer for Cancer Center
After battling prostate cancer and finishing his treatment at IU Health Arnett Cancer Center, John Laws, a vice chancellor at Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette, showed appreciation by buying a blanket warmer for the center. “I am always cold, so warmth is close to my heart,” he said. Now patients who feel cold after radiation therapy can experience a physical warmth to match the warmth of the care Laws received during his treatment.
