Formerly Incarcerated People Determined to Turn Their Lives Around Get Help From IU Health
A program funded by IU Health’s Community Impact Investment Fund and Duke Energy is helping south-central Indiana residents find work, even if they’ve been justice-involved. The program put Jessie Terrell back on track after she was released from incarceration, helping her acquire not just the skills she needed to get a job but also the supports and confidence she needed to succeed. Excited to contribute to her community, Jessie volunteers as a mentor to others who are looking for new opportunities.
