Healthcare Equity Starts at the Top … of the Head
Recognizing that haircare products supplied by IU Health Bloomington Hospital didn’t meet the needs of people of color, one recreational therapist started a campaign to diversify those products. Now she’s hoping to spread the well-received program to the rest of the IU Health system to promote well-being and equity for all patients.
