Heart of IU Health 2025: Supporting Team Members Through the Unexpected

At IU Health, “team” is one of our core values. How we count on and care for each other is part of the IU Health Way. It informs and shapes our work. We live this value on our good days, and we live this value on our most difficult. That’s why we’re proud to launch the 2025 Heart of IU Health campaign, our annual team member giving initiative led by the IU Health Foundation.

This year, we’re focusing our collective generosity on the Team Member Support Fund (TMSF) — a vital resource that provides emergency financial assistance to IU Health employees facing unexpected hardship.

Why It Matters

Whether it’s a natural disaster, an unforeseen illness, funeral expenses, or another emergency, the TMSF exists to help team members and their families navigate difficult times. In 2024 alone, the fund supported nearly 550 team members across the state.

From tornadoes that damaged homes to rising food costs during the holidays, the need for support has grown, and so has the urgency to ensure the fund is sufficiently resourced. If every IU Health employee gave just $10, we could guarantee the fund is ready to meet the needs of our team in the year ahead.

Each IU Health team has a unique participation goal, monitored by their leaders. Our goal is to engage more than 2,000+ team members to participate — because every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
