Local Donors, Local Impact: Fund Supplies AEDs to Lafayette Life Savers
The Lafayette Fire Department received nine new heart-starting AEDs from IU Health Foundation thanks to generous donations from the west-central Indiana community and gifts made to the Arnett Community Initiatives Fund. Devices that can restart the heart of someone who has a cardiac arrest, AEDs can make a big difference when minutes mean the difference between life and death. The Arnett Community Initiatives Fund benefits health initiatives in the greater Lafayette community, often working alongside partners such as first responders.
