Pathways Program Helps Entry-Level Workers Launch Healthcare Careers
Donors Gary and Shelly Henriott share a passion for education, so they support IU Health’s Pathways into Healthcare program. The program allows entry-level team members to pursue a career as certified medical assistants, receiving regular pay and benefits but spending half their on-the-job time in training. The program also covers the costs of courses, supplies and certifications. Meghan Glass and Shelby Shedrow became fast friends in the Pathways program, when they overcame challenges to pursue their dreams in the medical field.
