Reaching beyond IU Health’s walls to improve Hoosiers’ well-being
As organizations dedicated to improving the well-being of all Hoosiers, IU Health Foundation and IU Health know they cannot wait until people get sick or injured to intervene. To truly affect wellness, says IU Health Foundation President Crystal Hinson Miller, healthcare organizations must address the societal and environmental factors that affect health. Thanks to the $200 million IU Health Community Impact Investment Fund, IU Health and the Foundation are doing just that, partnering with local organizations statewide on health-improving programs.
