Thanking Rev supporters who fund trauma and critical care
After a car accident shattered Vimal Patel’s heels, doctors in California said his feet needed to be amputated. Searching for other options, he learned of IU Health’s expertise in trauma care—especially with Indianapolis 500 drivers--and soon flew 2,000 miles to begin treatment. His feet were saved, and his heart was touched by the care he received. Patel thanked IU Health Foundation donor Duchess Adjei and other attendees of Rev, IU Health Foundation’s signature event. Rev supports IU Health’s care in trauma, critical care and services provided by IU Health for the drivers and patrons at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and in hospitals statewide. “What you do as donors means the world to patients like me,” Vimal told Adjei.
