The gift of hope: Stroke survivor credits positive support for recovery
Physically and emotionally devastated by the effects of COVID and a stroke, Farook Ohab was running short on hope. Fortunately, his care team at the IU Health Neuroscience Center had hope to share. The team’s encouragement, expertise and high-tech tools in the donor-supported Neurorehabilitation and Robotics lab helped him regain the ability to walk and use his arms and renewed his sense of hope.
