Words Fail Them: Neurology Patients use Art to Express Themselves
An IU Health Neuroscience Center art therapy program that helps patients with neurological conditions use art to express themselves and cope with their challenges is so popular that it has a long wait list. Philanthropic support would allow the program – which serves patients with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions that limit verbal communication – to grow and extend its free-of-charge services.
